About GLP1Bridge
An independent, plain-English resource for Medicare beneficiaries navigating GLP-1 coverage.
Our mission
The rules around GLP-1 medications and Medicare are confusing — and the people most affected are often the least well-served by jargon-heavy explanations. GLP1Bridge.com exists to translate the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge program into clear, useful guidance: who qualifies, what it costs, which drugs are covered, and how to get approved. Our goal is simple — give Medicare beneficiaries and their families accurate, plain-English answers they can act on, and always point them back to the official sources for the final word.
Who writes this site
Written and maintained by Alex Carter, a health policy researcher and Medicare benefits specialist with 8 years covering federal drug coverage programs. Alex focuses on how Part D, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid handle high-cost medications, and translates dense federal rules into guidance ordinary beneficiaries can use.
Content is reviewed and updated regularly. Every regulatory or clinical claim is sourced from primary government references such as CMS.gov and FDA.gov.

How we work
- We write for real people, not insiders — plain language, large type, mobile-friendly.
- We cite primary sources like CMS.gov, Medicaid.gov, and FDA.gov.
- We review content regularly and update it when CMS or FDA guidance changes.
- We clearly label estimates and illustrative figures, and tell you to verify with your plan.
- We never collect personal health information through our tools.
What we are not
GLP1Bridge.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Medicare, CMS, any state Medicaid program, or any drug manufacturer. We do not provide medical, legal, or financial advice, and we cannot make coverage decisions — only your plan can.
